Finally, a Walkoff Flocka

Good.  I'm glad.  Would be nice if Ricky Romero showed up here sooner or later though.

Yunel and Rajai Davis both had themselves nice games, with Yunel getting on base 4 times, and Rajai walking off with a double to the gap.  Zaunhead for Yunel.

Last game with the Phillies this afternoon, before going to see the Brewers in Milwaukee.

Stuff
Buster Olney gives us some high-quality, open-ended speculation, when he says that the Jays might either bail on the season now that three of their five rotation pitchers are hurt, or they'll go full retard and get Matt Garza.  It's okay to not write anything, Buster.

The Nats DFA'ed Brad Lidge. Can't be worse than Coco, right?

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe wonders if the Jays might go after Manny, now that Vlad Guerrero is gone.  Meh.

Ken Rosenthal suggests that the Cubs are shopping Ryam Dempster, though Dempster has 10-and-5 rights, which is essentially a no-trade clause.  He's said that he'd like to stay in Chicago, but would probably accept a deal to go to a contender.  The Jays apparently have checked in, and definitely have the prospects, but it's tough to tell whether Dempster would accept the trade.  Matt Garza may be a better fit, considering he has another year of control after this one, whereas Dempster will be a free agent after the season.  Rosenthal also points out that the Jays are looking around for pitching.  Finally, he says that Vernon Wells will probably be released, thanks to injury problems and the fact that Mark Trumbo and Mike Trout have established themselves in the outfield.
